Entre las cosas que nos cuentan destacamos una: la excelente posición de esta facultad y universidad en los rankings internacionales:
The Faculty was awarded top places in two recent worldwide rankings: Last fall, as the only German university besides Bonn, the Goethe University occupied a top 100 rank (ranking group 76–100) in the newly established category Economics/Business in the Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s renowned Academic Ranking of World Universities. The University of Tilburg (Netherlands) recently introduced an entirely new ranking under the name of Tilburg Economics Ranking. “While several business school rankings exist worldwide, a list of the best economics departments was missing,” said the initiators of the Tilburg Ranking. The evaluation is based on the publications in the 68 leading international professional journals within a five-year period (2004–2008). Our Faculty’s outstanding achievement:
- Worldwide: rank 112
- Europe: rank 35
- Germany: rank 5
Had the evaluation been based on the four-year period 2005–2008, the result would have been even better: rank 97 worldwide, rank 30 in Europe and rank 3 in Germany.
