LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS

Empirics of Management: An Academic Excellence Programme. London, September 2018

An Academic Excellence Programme at LSE´ in collaboration with the Fundación Rafael Del Pino, combines the best of LSE´s world class teaching and research in the field in a specially-designed format for young Spanish academics who have a strong background in economics, finance or other related social sciences.  This programme will seek to train a cadre of first-class Spanish participants who will take the knowledge absorbed at LSE and impart that knowledge back in Spain, and thus helping to multiply the impact of their individual training and experience.

Due to the internal policy of the Fundación Rafael Del Pino, based in Spain, all applicants have to be Spanish Nationals. Foreign academics or specialists resident in Spain are not eligible for this particular programme.

What's included?

The programme itself will be a 5 day intensive course at LSE from Monday 10^th to Friday 14^th September 2018. Successful applicants will receive full funding for the programme as well as accommodation in London for the duration of programme.

Participants will undertake study sessions on the following topics:

• Measuring Impact of Management on Firm Performance
• Information Technology, Productivity and the Organisation of Firms
• Firm Capabilities and Market Structure
• Technology, Globalization and Beyond
• Corporate Governance

INTERNATIONAL SUMMER UNIVERSITY FRANKFURT

The Hessen International Summer University (ISU) Frankfurt is a unique four-week summer school open to students currently enrolled in Bachelor and Master programs from around the world. Designed for international students and taught entirely in English, our short-term program combines high quality lectures on current financial and political topics, intensive German language courses, and a diverse cultural and social program.

Dates of program: July 15 - August 11,  2018

Students can take courses in European Finance and European Studies. Along with German language courses, the ISU Frankfurt program is worth up to 9 ECTS points. The program is taught entirely in English and designed for international students.

What's included?

4 weeks of academic courses, German language courses, and an exciting cultural program, including excursions to the European Parliament in Brussels or Strasbourg and Germany’s capital, Berlin. Accommodation, insurance, and transportation around Frankfurt are also included in the program fee.

EFRI SUMMER SCHOOL "International Environment and the European Integration"

The International EFRI Summer School "International Environment and the European Integration" held at the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka (EFRI) in Croatia, from July 2 to July 14, 2018  

The goal of the EFRI Summer School is to broaden the knowledge of students of economics, law, political sciences, administration and other related studies on the economic integration process in Europe, and to point out the advantages and challenges of economic integration and business environment in everyday life. 

Classes will be held by lecturers from Croatian and European Universities, as well as other institutions. Classes are completely in English and will be mostly held at the Faculty of Economics Rijeka. Participants will learn about Europe, the Internal Market and how to do business and will be awarded 6 ECTS credits.

Ferran, estudiante de TADE, premiado en la EM Strasbourg (Francia)

Ferran Cantó Masa, estudiante de TADE en la EM Strasbourg, ha sido galardonado con mención especial como el primer estudiante Erasmus en participar en el concurso francés Les Négociales.

Se trata de un concurso de negociación que se lleva a cabo desde 1989 en Francia, y actualmente también se ha expandido a otros países francófonos como Bélgica, Suiza y Marruecos. En todos estos países hay centros donde se llevan a cabo las negociaciones, y los mejores pasan a la final en Épinal, Francia.

Este concurso es un trampolín hacia la carrera profesional como comercial, puesto que el jurado son profesionales de empresas que suelen contratar a los mejores participantes para trabajar o de prácticas.

Para Ferrán ha sido una muy buena experiencia que le ha permitido integrarse en la EM Strasbourg como un alumno francés más.

These Programmes offer 10 days intensive academic and professional courses taught in English by a team of multicultural professors from Rennes School of Business.

We are very pleased to announce that our first Winter School Programme (January 7 - 20, 2018) is now open for registration!

The business course on strategic management International Business Strategy: The role of Europe in a changing world (IBS) will be dealing with market challenges for businesses and global strategies in Services Industries. Students will gain insights into European service-based firms which have developed integrated global strategies based on industry relationships in order to thrive in new environments. Students gain insights to modern diversification, concentration and market entry strategies, and how firms implement their strategic concepts in modern services industries. Theoretical contents are combined with cases studies developed from business practise. The course also includes study visits to companies and institutions, as well as introductory German language classes for beginners (Survival German).

CURSOS INTERNACIONALES CON LA UNIVERSITY OF NORTH FLORIDA (EEUU)

Por segundo año consecutivo, la Facultad de Económicas ha recibido un grupo de estudiantes estadounidenses para participar en un programa organizado por nuestra Facultad junto con la University of North Florida dentro del Coggin in Spain Program del Coggin College of Business.

A través de los cursos "Innovation, Immigration and Social Entrepreneurship" y "Leadership and Competitiveness in the 21st Century",  los estudiantes participantes tuvieron la oportunidad de ampliar sus conocimientos en estas áreas de estudio de la mano de profesorado experto perteneciente a nuestra Facultad, así como poner en práctica lo aprendido en las sesiones de trabajo organizadas junto con Cruz Roja Alicante. 

Toda una experiencia abierta también al alumnado de la UA con el consiguiente enriquecimiento recíproco derivado de la diversidad cultural de esta actividad internacional.

Para nuestra nueva "beca para ahorradores" estamos buscando estudiantes ahorradores que logran financiar sus estudios con poco dinero, de una forma creativa y mediante trucos ingeniosos. La beca se concede con independencia de las notas, del semestre o de la carrera universitaria.
